ILMVAC Pumps and Systems
ISO9001 compliant since 1996,
German manufacturer ILMVAC use state-of-the-art production tooling and
techniques to meet the highest industry standards.
ILMVAC focus on chemically
resistance throughout their range and therefore specialise in dry pump
technologies including
- Scroll
- Spindle
- Diaphragm
- Turbomolecular
- Hybrid
Rotary Vane
The use of dry technologies and
highly resistant materials of construction make ILMVAC pumps particularly
suitable for the pumping of condensable solvent and acid vapours.
Scroll Pumps
ILMVAC scroll pumps are unique,
having a vertical shaft construction which places the exhaust port at the
lowest point, thus allowing condensate to flow freely from the scroll
mechanism. The wetted components are treated using a process which seals the
surfaces with PTFE at a molecular level. Unlike a coating treatment, this
surface does not wear with age. There are no bearings inside the vacuum
environment, making these pumps excellently suited to arduous processes.
Diaphragm Pumps
ILMVAC offers the largest range
of diaphragm vacuum pumps and systems. Construction is available in aluminium
for permanent gas pumping, or in fluorinated plastics (PTFE) for solvent and
acid vapour pumping. A favourite with both Original Equipment Manufacturers and
laboratory manages alike, ILMVAC diaphragm pumps have an excellent track record
in providing long term reliability with extended service intervals and
exceptionally low cost of ownership.
Developments made from diaphragm
pumps include dedicated laboratory vacuum systems, cascade systems and discrete
units for chemical evaporation and aspiration.
LVS laboratory vacuum systems can
be supplied with four different control modes, providing exactly the right
operation for the application. These include intelligent speed control to match
performance to requirement without user intervention, and a system which simple
turns the pump on and off when it is needed.
Cascade systems provide very high
flow rates which are not normally achievable with diaphragm pumps. At the same
time, they maintain all the benefits of dry pump technologies without
compromise in chemical resistance.
Solvent Evaporation
ILMVAC evaporators use patented
technologies to remove the need for rotating sample flasks. Ease of use and
long life are the key benefits of this development.
Aspiration
Vacuum is ideal for the safe
removal of dangerous fluids in the work place. From millilitres to gallons,
ILMVAC aspiration systems can handle the task safely, containing the hazard and
preventing contamination of the surrounding environment.
Turbomolecular Pump Systems
ILMVAC offers a range of complete
turbomolecular pump systems for High and Ultra High Vacuum applications.
Specialising in hydrocarbon free, dry backing pump solutions, ILMVAC’s range
provides pumping speeds from 50 to 1000 ls-1.
Systems can be trolley or pillar
mounted, all-in-one boxed systems, or even supplied in a cushioned flight case
for service engineers on the road.
Chemvac Hybrid Pumps
ILMVAC’s unique hybrid range of
pumps provides the benefits of chemical resistance with the deep levels of
vacuum only available from oil-sealed rotary pumps. A PTFE diaphragm pump
constantly removes contaminants from the oil stages, maintaining the oil at 8
mbar, thus preventing organic solvents from condensing in the oil stages.
Available in a range of sizes, the Chemvac pumps are ideal for high vacuum
applications using solvent and acid vapours.
Instrumentation
Reliable measurement is critical
to any vacuum application. ILMVAC manufacturers a range of gauges and
controllers including hand held, battery powered units which are ideal for site
measurement.
Ilmvac,,,the first choice for chemically resistant laboratory pumps and innovative vacuum solutions.
Absolute vacuum both sells and services the entire Ilmvac range.
Ilmvac was at its launch briefly known as saskia hochvakuum.
