Edwards (formerly BOC Edwards) new line of lightweight aluminium angle valves are designed for high vacuum service and are well suited for isolation of roughing lines and forelines in a vacuum process where high conductance is required. An optional position indicator is available, which is activated by a magnet inside the pneumatic actuator providing indication for the open and closed positions. Easy removal of the actuator allows servicing while the valve body remains in situ.
