aspects of vacuum. Specialists in troubleshooting and solutions for
systems with technical demands. Our main area of expertise is rotary vane pump repairs and all rotary high vacuum equipment. With the companies strong site experience we are able to advise on a high technical level.We can provide you with a vacuum pump based on either technical requirements and or a price driven project. All manufacturers such as Edwards ® , Leybold vacuum, Alcatel ,Adixen, Hick Hargreaves , Stokes, Kinney are all second nature for us.
Company Formation
The
company was founded in November 1999 by Andrew Taylor MD. Otherwise
known as Andy. Andy completed his apprenticeship with Edwards high vacuum in 1987.Whilst under the BOC wing time was spent in such departments as, diffusion pump test and assembly,high vacuum coating plant,technical design of vacuum
projects. He continued with Edwards in the field service
department.Whilst with service and based from the UK headquarters in Crawley.Such site and clients would have included the following.
ICI imperial chemical company at numerous sites including middlesborough and jeallotts hill Surrey."now known as Syngenta" Mclaren formula one racing on pumps and sytems used for carbon fibre composite moulding. Motorola,Siemens,Digital,fujitsu and Seagate semicondutor plants all frequently serviced. Shell Petronas smds site in Bitulu Malaysia. installation and commsioning of 7 large scale WFE wiped film evaporators with 30b4 Edwards diffusion pumps and twin roots pump and rotary piston pumps.
In 1992 he became involved with Vacuum and Industrial
Products at the close of this company he was the managing partner.
Having gained considerable experience in primarily service and then
sales, the decision was made to go it alone.
Hence Absolute Vacuum was
born, and has been successfully meeting customers’ demands for well
over 7 years. In 2008 Simon Davies joined the Absolute team, he is the service director of the company and has first hand experience on Applied materials implant , having done his apprenticeship at Horsham. He has global service experience with VG Scientific and Edwards high vacuum service.
Aim
The
aim of the company is to provide high-class High Vacuum advice, sales
and service. We pride ourselves on giving the best after sales service
that there is. We carry a vast range of high vacuum pumps plant and associated stock. We also supply recondtioned,service exchange and remanufactured stock. We also carry pumps for hire of all shapes and sizes.
In 2004 absolute vacuum bought out IVS vacuum and more recently has bought out VIS vacuum and industrial services West

of the company’s employees have a long-term background in High Vacuum.
We carry numerous vacuum training certificates from edwards high vacuum .The whole of our engineering team has worked at national and
international level. We have worked in such places as Malaysia, Singapore ,China ,Germany ,Ireland ,United Arab Emirates. and many more . Absolute vacuum service have also secured the services of Brian Mills who has over 30 years BOC Edwards site service and global experience. specializing in all types of rotary pumps and drystar systems.
Our workshop was expaned in 2004 to include a stores facility.
Company Goal
It
is our goal to be the single biggest independent High Vacuum Service
